The Turnstone Group is an established property development, investment and management company with a focus on long-term value creation across residential, commercial and mixed-use property.
We own and manage a diverse portfolio of assets, including industrial, residential and commercial property and development land. Our operations range from industrial development and estate management to the promotion of medium and large-scale residential schemes through the planning process.
Combining strong financial foundations with extensive property experience, Turnstone is able to identify opportunities, progress planning strategies, deliver development and manage completed assets directly. This integrated approach allows us to take a long-term view, working with housebuilders, contractors, commercial occupiers and professional advisers to bring forward high-quality property projects.
What we do
The Turnstone Group is active across industrial, residential and commercial sectors. Our work includes the phased delivery of business park accommodation, planning promotion, residential development and the direct management of retained investment assets.
At Headley Wood Business Park, completed units are let and retained as part of our portfolio. We manage the estate directly and plan future phases in line with demand, occupier requirements and market conditions.
We also own land and property for development, including sites being promoted for large residential schemes in partnership with housebuilders and registered social landlords. Alongside this, we hold and self-manage a residential and commercial investment portfolio.

Justin Whitfield
Justin Whitfield has spent more than 40 years in property development and investment. After retiring from competing as an international decathlete in 1985, he founded Towerfield Developments, initially focusing on residential apartment schemes, principally in central London.
During the 1990s, he went on to establish Dorepark Ltd, acquiring brownfield sites across the Home Counties and creating value through the planning process, with a particular emphasis on residential development.
In 2008, Justin and the Whitfield family established the Turnstone Group, giving the business a strong capital base and a clear focus on property development, investment and planning-led value creation. Justin leads the Group’s strategic direction, finance and funding, investment decisions and long-term business planning. He brings extensive experience across residential development, brownfield regeneration and property investment.
Tim Wild
Tim Wild plays a central role in the management of Turnstone Group’s property activities, working across the Group’s development, investment and asset management interests. His role includes the promotion of residential development land, planning strategy, the coordination of professional teams, the management of development projects, and the day-to-day oversight of retained property assets.
He is closely involved in progressing sites through the planning process and delivering valuable planning consents that support future development.
Alongside this, Tim deals with a wide range of property, lease, occupier, legal and asset management matters across the Group’s residential, commercial and industrial portfolio. With broad experience across both development and property management, he combines strategic oversight with a practical, hands-on approach to managing and improving property assets for long-term value.
Tim Saxton
Tim Saxton qualified with BDO Stoy Hayward in 1985 before co-founding Leigh Saxton Green, a Mayfair-based accountancy practice, in 1987. The firm advised clients across a range of sectors, including property, and later merged with TC Group in 2019.
As Turnstone Group’s financial adviser, Tim supports the Group on strategic planning, tax planning, corporate finance and acquisition and disposal matters.
